Project Overview
This project involved designing and developing the official social media presence for the Philadelphia Student Press Association (PSPA), a citywide coalition of student-run newspapers across Philadelphia. PSPA’s mission is to amplify student voices, strengthen campus journalism, and connect student reporters to the civic and cultural life of the city.
The goal of this campaign is to establish a cohesive and recognizable brand identity across platforms — one that communicates PSPA’s values of collaboration, creativity, and civic engagement. The social media strategy was designed to introduce the organization, highlight student journalists, and spark participation from campuses citywide.
Rooted in Philadelphia’s strong journalism tradition and diverse university ecosystem, PSPA’s social media presence aims to serve as both a promotional tool and a storytelling platform — professional yet student-driven, informative yet inspiring. The designs reflect that vision through bold typography, authentic imagery, and a unified visual system that captures the energy of Philadelphia’s student press community.
