Culxtured
Culxtured is a groundbreaking media collective founded by four Paralympians, with a mission to transform the way the world views para sports and disabilities. The collective seeks to challenge societal perceptions, break down barriers, and foster inclusivity. Through powerful storytelling and innovative content, Culxtured educates audiences on the achievements of para athletes and strives to eliminate the "UN" from uncultured, creating a more accepting and informed society.
Philadelphia Student Press Association
The Philadelphia Student Press Association is a citywide coalition of student-run newspapers at colleges and universities across Philadelphia. Founded in 2025, PSPA unites independent student publications under one network to strengthen campus journalism and amplify the voices of emerging reporters. The organization fosters collaboration, provides shared resources, and creates opportunities for mentorship and professional growth across schools. With a focus on civic engagement, storytelling, and media literacy, PSPA empowers the next generation of journalists to connect their campuses to the wider cultural and civic life of Philadelphia.
Pop Culture Planet
Pop Culture Planet is an independent media platform dedicated to highlighting diverse voices and untold stories in entertainment. Founded by entertainment journalist Kristen Maldonado, the platform explores the intersection of pop culture, identity, and representation through interviews, editorials, and digital content. With a focus on inclusion and authenticity, Pop Culture Planet amplifies creators from underrepresented communities and fosters conversations that challenge industry norms. By celebrating what makes each story unique, the platform encourages a more reflective and equitable entertainment landscape.
Manayunk Development Corporation
Manayunk Development Corporation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting and promoting the Manayunk neighborhood of Philadelphia as a vibrant hub for small businesses, community engagement, and local culture. Through creative marketing initiatives, dynamic events, and partnerships with merchants, MDC strengthens the connection between residents, visitors, and entrepreneurs. From neighborhood festivals to seasonal campaigns like the Manayunk Passport program, the organization showcases the area’s unique blend of historic charm and modern creativity.
